Irish Partnerships

MRIA The Marine Ireland Industry Network (MIIN) is made up of a diverse array of companies, state organisations, research groups, and higher education institutes working in Ireland’s blue economy. Exceedence has been a member since the Network was established in 2016 to bring together the many elements of Marine Ireland.

Enterprise Ireland A key partner and stakeholder of Exceedence, Enterprise Ireland is the Irish government’s enterprise development agency. They have supported Exceedence through mentorship, grant funding and investment, as well as helping us access overseas markets. We have been a client since inception and graduated from HPSU in 2018.

NDRC An early-stage investor in technology startups. It aims to drive digital innovation by investing in and accelerating high-potential tech companies, focusing on sectors such as software, medtech, fintech, and cleantech. Exceecdence went through an accelerator in 2016 and had follow-on investments in 2018/2019. We are part of the active Alumni network.

NIMO Northern Ireland Maritime & Offshore (NIMO) comprises like-minded companies committed to working collectively for the benefit of its members and the broader Northern Ireland community. Exceedence is a member through its Belfast Office, located in the heart of the Titanic Quarter.

TFI Marine We have been working with TFI Marine on offshore power for aquaculture since 2016 through a number of programmes such as Wave Energy Scotland, Marine Institute and SEAI.

European Partnerships

Climate KIC Europe’s leading climate innovation agency and community, supporting cities, regions, countries and industries to meet their climate ambitions through systems innovation and place-based transformations. Exceedence has been a member since 2017 and has participated in funding, collaboration and business development activities.

Blue Invest Blue Invest is a platform and accelerator to foster innovation and investment in sustainable technologies for the blue economy. It provides investment readiness support and access to finance for early-stage businesses, SMEs and scale-ups. BlueInvest is enabled by the European Maritime and Fisheries Fund.. Exceedence has been engaged with the programme since the outset

International Partnerships

Microsoft Since we began our journey, we have worked with Microsoft. Initiallity through Bizpark programme , then Bizspark Plus and most recently the Microsoft Founders Hub. Microsoft have provided us with mentorship, Azure credits, marketing support and early access to new technologies such as open.ai. We are part of the Microsoft Partner Network and we are proud that our software is listed globally on the Azure Marketplace.

Wood – OPTIWAVE Financial and engineering optimisation software for wave energy systems. Jointly developed by Wood and Exceedence, the OptiWave platform combines two software tools, Exfin, a techno-financial modelling package that performs detailed financial appraisals, and Flexcom Wave, an offshore marine energy engineering simulator that provides enhanced insight into power generation capabilities and structural designs.
